Welcome to the Homepage of the Masters Programme in “Spatial Development and Natural Resource Management”.

The Masters Programme is interdisciplinary, and both research and application oriented. The two-year graduate programme focuses on current challenges to our society at the interface of environmental science and spatial planning:

How can cities and regions achieve sustainable development in times of globalization and demographic change?

What risk management strategies are available to react to the challenges of climate change?

How can disturbed ecosystems, e. g. former mining areas, be revitalized?

How can spatial development and natural resource management contribute to preserving cultural landscapes and biodiversity?

Find answers to these and many other questions. Learn how to analyze and assess problems and to develop suitable and practicable approaches.

Benefit from the integration of teaching activities from several departments of the TU Dresden and the participation of leading non-university research institutions in the field of spatial sciences.
