- Arriving late to class - please be punctual! (should there be a problem with starting or finishing times, please discuss this with the teacher.
- Handing in work late - teachers should not have to mark your work separately and may refuse to mark your work.
- Chewing gum – do not chew gum or eat in class. This disturbs your speaking and is not appropriate for the formal atmosphere of a classroom.
- Chatting - this is a sign of bad manners and is not tolerated in English-speaking cultures.
