The panel consists of weekly lectures by specialists who give an insight to their working experience in the field of Intellectual Property Law. The lectures are held in German and English. The lecturers are lawyers, judges and members of the German Patent Office who are specialised in a field of IP Law. They present specific current aspects referring to their practical work. The students thereby get the opportunity to discuss with and share the practical experiences of our lecturers.

Moot Court

In addition, we offer a moot court in cooperation with Professor Stauder, who until 2006 was the director of the international department of CEIPI (Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Industrielle) and member of the board of directors of the European Patent Office. The students deal with a case related to Intellectual Property Law in a simulated court hearing. By this, they have the opportunity to apply their gained knowledge in IP Law. In addition, they are given the opportunity to practice presentation techniques and free speech.
