DiagnosticsOur Institutes PRovides following diagnostic spectrum:
In addition to laboratory diagnostics of microbial agents we offer counseling in prevention, diagnostics and therapy of infectious diseases. We also provide a clinical microbiological service and participate in ward rounds, especially on intensive care units (ICU). The Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene hosts the national consulting laboratories for Legionella (Dr. Lück) and Mycoplasma (Prof. Dr. Jacobs).
