Successful completion of the doctorate by Egyptian Ph.D. student.

Mr. Hassan Abd El-Aziz El-Sabagh, Ph.D. student at the Media Research and Development Centre of TU Dresden, has successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on "The Impact of a Web-Based Virtual Lab on the Development of Students'

Conceptual Understanding and Science Process Skills" at the Department of Education Sciences on 28/01/2011. On the picture besides the Ph.D. candidate the reviewers Prof. Dr. Zaher (Uni Cairo), Prof. Dr. Köhler (TU Dresden) and the head of the committee Prof. Dr. Vollbrecht are shown. Mr. El-Sabagh's research has been financed by a scholarship of the Egyptian Ministry of Science and was supported by EU and DAAD.
