The high performance computers at ZIH are subdivided into HPC resources and special resources. The SGI Altix, the PC Farm Deimos, and the PC Farm Atlas represent the HPC resources and are at all users´ disposal. A multitude of application programs can be carried out. Furthermore, one´s own software can be compiled by means of the installed HPC compilers.

Users with special needs have special resources at their disposal. The Windows-HPC-Cluster is available for software which only runs under Windows.
