[MA] Transaction-safe Causal Connections for Models@run.time
Models@run.time denotes the vision to transfer established design-time techniques from model-driven software development to the runtime of the respective systems under construction. Systems based on Models@run.time typically have a runtime model representing the current state of the reflected system. This runtime model is connected with the system by a causal connection, i.e., changes in the model are propagated to the system and vice versa.
The goal of this thesis is to investigate how to ensure transactional properties (ACID) for the causal connection between a runtime model and a system.
For this, the following tasks have to be fulfilled:
- Literature analysis
- Implementation of an exemplary models@run.time based system
- Conceptualization of a transaction-safe causal connection
- Realization of the concept in the example application
- Analysis/evaluation of the concept using the example application
