[DA] Efficient Multi-directional Model Transformations using Reference Attribute Grammars
Distributed, synchronous, collaborative work on data is common nowadays. In particular, approaches for text documents and spreadsheets can be considered state of the art. The same is required for modeling, but here fewer and less mature approaches exist. To enable distributed collaborative work on models, multi-directional model transformations are required. These are transformations, which can synchronize multiple models, which have specified interrelations. In previous work at the Software Technology Group, a preprocessor to connect models based on relational reference attribute grammars called RAGConnect has been developed. The goal of this thesis is to investigate how multi-directional model transformations can be realized using connector reference attribute grammars and to compare this novel approach with current solutions.
