The lecture series
Every semester, Integrale offers a lecture series on a current topic that is examined from different perspectives. The aim is to introduce students and interested parties to interdisciplinary topics, concepts and methods. For this interdisciplinary series of events, we invite a wide variety of internal and external speakers to learn and discuss together.
Students have the option of earning a participation certificate (1 LP) or a performance certificate through participation in the written exam (3 LP).
Summer semester 2023:
Thinking about technology - perspectives on current developments
Commonly, technology is used and taken for granted. Despite the public interest in its use, the debates often only scratch the surface and leave many dimensions of technical developments unconsidered.
The lecture series, therefore, aims to shed light on current theses, problems, and perspectives on technical developments. The focus of the lectures is on the question of what consequences technological developments have in social, political, cultural, and economic contexts.
The lecture series will take place in attendance.
Start: Tuesday the 18th of April 2023 from 18.30 to 20 o'clock.
Further information about the lecture, enrollment, and exam is in the OPAL course.
