Preparation-funded proposal submitted: "U_CAN - Towards ukranian carbon neutral cities"

A team of WISSENSARCHITEKTUR - Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture has submitted a proposal in the 'HORIZON-MISS-2023-CIT-02: Associating Ukrainian cities to the climate-neutral and smart cities mission' programme. The preparation of the proposal was funded by the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism within the framework of the 'EuProNet start-up funding'. 

Networking und Co-Creation for Climate Neutrality

The proposed project "U_CAN. Towards Carbon Neutrality of Ukrainian Cities" supports ukrainian cities towards climate neutrality. Following European standards and the European Green Deal, the project should start with a core group of 8 Ukrainian cities, Dresden as Climate Neutral and Smart Mission City, NGOs and research institutions.

This networking and co-creation process will address the current challenges of Ukrainian cities and their key sectors. The twinning partners will exchange experiences with other network municipalities throughout the country and make the transition together.
