The Chair of Timber Engineering is responsible for teaching and research on timber structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. In the field of teaching, basics of timber engineering as well as knowledge in building ecology, design and constructing with composites are imparted. The research is focussed on the resource efficient use of timber in buildings and other technical applications.
