Feel invited to participate in this process and become a part of this world of various perspectives and experiences!
Discuss while having a delicious 3-course dinner on Thursday evening about global conflicts, discover the ‚cosmic sound of plants‘, watch aesthetic experiments of fermentation and wild plants knowledge. Watch how natural structures and surfaces turn into canvas and develeop common stategies to support the idea of climate justice. Let your understanding of forest be transformed by conscious perception!
There will be work shops, seminars and discussion panels. Moreover there wil be a exibition, movies and theater waiting for you. Inbetween is enough space for exchange and networking.
And why?
The forest as an ecosystem has an indispensable function for life on earth: By its participation in water cycles, production of oxygen and as a space of living. An important function of forests is the storage of carbon.
Every year forests of enormous size were destroyed. Biodiversity, thousends of old trees and dthe living space of many indigenous people is destroyed with it. While these forest are cleared, burned down and dehydrated, carbon sets free as CO2 into the atmosphere.
The preservation of these ecosystems is an important goal in active climate protection. The worldwide destruction of forests is followed by long-term damages for human kind and enviroment. Our goal is to save this eco systems, restorate them and support their sustainable use.
The festival claims to share awareness to these topics, put focus on global impact and demonstrate ways to act to cause change!
The event is open for all. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible and to raise awareness for the preservation and sustainable afforestation. The various consequences of nature destruction will make us face a global-society task.
