Mrs. Birte M. Albrecht received 1st DVFFA poster award at FoWiTa 2018

Mrs. Birte M. Albrecht, a doctoral student at our professorship, received the 1st Place Poster Prize at this year's Forest Science Conference (FoWiTa) in Göttingen. The prize is offered by the German Association of Forest Research Institutes (DVFFA) and is endowed with prize money. With the title "Influence of the alien tree Green Ash on the native floodplain vegetation", Mrs. Albrecht presents in her poster the first results on the effects of the neophyte on the herbaceous plant species diversity of hardwood floodplain forests in the Mittelelbe region. The poster was appreciated both in form and in content.
