Nach einem Diplomstudium der Stadtplanung an der Technischen Universität Hamburg-Harburg, der TU Wien und der HafenCity Universität war ich am Leipziger Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung – UFZ tätig. Bevor ich 2016 an der Universität Hamburg in Geographie promovierte, forschte ich einige Zeit als Gastwissenschaftlerin am Geographie-Institut der Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). 2017 erschien meine Dissertation unter dem Titel 'Demanding Water. A Sociospatial Approach to Domestic Water Use in Mexico City' im Franz Steiner Verlag. Nach einer Station am Center for Metropolitan Studies der TU Berlin bin ich seit November 2018 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (Postdoc) am Institut für Geographie der TU Dresden in Lehre und Forschung tätig.

I Ich bin Mitglied im Verband für Geographie an deutschsprachigen Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen (VGDH), im International Network for Urban Research and Action (INURA), im Research Committee 21 on Sociology of Urban and Regional Development of the International Sociological Association (RC21) und Fellow der Royal Geographical Society (RGS-IBG).
