Spatial Development and Natural Resource Management (Master)
Welcome
This masters course is interdisciplinary and both research and application oriented. The two-years degree programme focuses on current challenges to our society at the interface of environmental science and spatial planning:
How can cities and regions achieve sustainable development in times of globalization and demographic change?
What kind of risk management strategies are available in responding to the challenges of climate change?
How can disturbed ecosystems, e. g. former mining areas, be revitalized?
How can spatial development and natural resource management contribute to preserving cultural landscapes and biodiversity?

Find answers to these and many other questions. Learn how to analyze and assess problems and to develop suitable and practicable approaches.
