Withdrawal / Deregistration of exams
Information on deregistration without consequences
- According to the decisions of the examination boards, it is possible to withdraw from examinations (written examinations, oral examinations, etc.) up to three working days before the examination date. Use the deregistration function in HISQIS and Selma.
- For cancellations of oral examinations without an examination date, an informal written application can be submitted to the Examinations Office up to three working days before the examination date. The exact examination date must be confirmed by the examiner on the application.
- The following applies to semester-long project work, homework and seminar work: The end of registration is the same as the end of withdrawal.
Information on withdrawal from examinations in the event of illness
In case of illness: Please use the form "Withdrawal from exams in case of illness" (necessary!) and enclose the required proof:medical certificate. The original documents must be submitted to the examination office without delay.
In the event of incapacity for examination occurring during the examination, the supervisory staff and then the examination office must be informed immediately. The doctor must be seen promptly and the withdrawal must be submitted to the Examinations Office.
Deadline for written notification of withdrawal and submission of proof to the examination office: without delay, three working days
