Dr. Leyla Azizi Joins GRONEN Leadership Team and Impact Scholar Community Mentorship Program
Dr. Leyla Azizi has officially joined the leadership team of the Group for Research on Organizations and the Natural Environment (GRONEN) as of June 2024. She will also support the GRONEN Workshops Team, further enhancing the group's commitment to fostering scholarly exchange and professional development.
GRONEN is an international network dedicated to advancing research on management and the natural environment. The GRONEN Workshop series, established to complement the biennial conferences, focuses on enhancing research, teaching, and career skills, particularly for junior scholars. These workshops provide a platform for in-depth discussions, mentoring, and skill-building, tailored to the needs of the GRONEN community. In addition, Dr. Azizi has been accepted as a mentee in the prestigious Impact Scholar Community (ISC) Mentorship Program for 2024/25. This esteemed program, supported by the Academy of Management and hosted by the Organization and the Natural Environment (ONE) division, is dedicated to early-career research scholars aiming to connect research with real-world impact. Each year, ISC selects 10-12 researchers to gain mentorship from top academics. The 2024-2025 mentors include Sophie Bacq, Michael Barnett, Christine Beckman, Rodolphe Durand, Aparna Joshi, Jonatan Pinkse, Sandra Waddock, Klaus Weber, Christopher Wickert, and Charlene Zietsma.
Dr. Azizi’s involvement in both GRONEN and ISC highlights her commitment to advancing research that addresses complex environmental challenges and her dedication to mentoring and professional development within the academic community.
