Practice
In the context of their research, students and scientists develop many helpful approaches, which might prove interesting for representatives from practice. In order to facilitate the connection between science and practice, we collected some initial information on these sites. Visitors toof these sites can find information on the topic of climate change, how companies are affected by it, and how they may adapt accordingly. Furthermore, they willmay find an Influence Analysis Tool, developed by the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Sustainability Management and Environmental Accounting, throughby the use of which companies may, through self-evaluation, analysze existing obstacles regarding different questions.

Practice
The Chair of Sustainability Management and Environmental Accounting maintains an intensive exchange with politics and company practice. Besides several research projects which have been successfully completed with numerous partners, we assign particular importance to connecting students with the corporate world. Therefore, every semester, the chair invites speakers from industry and politics as guest lecturers in the context of different courses. They are announced on the website under the section “News”, on “Opal”, and in the respective courses in a timely manner. Furthermore, in collaboration with annually changing companies and questions, we offer the “Studienprojekt in Energie und Umwelt” (Study Project regarding Energy and Environment), so that students may test the taught concepts on “real” cases. We also encourage students to write scientific papers in cooperation with companies. A selection of announcements for these, or for internships and job offers, may also be found on this site.
We would also like to point out the Gabler Wirtschaftslexikon (German economics encyclopedia), which, especially at the beginning, offers valuable assistance for many questions.
