Vision

We develop and assess sustainability.

Mission

We conduct research on assessment and policies of sustainability, that is: basics of measuring and assessing the economically successful and socialle responsible long-term development, taking into account geographical and time-related conditions, including transfer of research results into politics, industry and society. We will prove the practicability of these methods through application of concrete examples.

Fields of Activity

The core activity field of PRISMA are interdisciplinary concept and method development, teaching & training and consultancy for policy, business and society.

Information

The focus is on questions of an economically successful and environmentally and socially sustainable long-term development, taking spatial and temporal conditions into account with innovate, interdisciplinary developed approaches to assessment. The objects of assessment range from systems, institutions, organizations, and individuals to the products and processing of materials. Scientists and researchers from the TU Dresden work and research for PRISMA, as well as those from partner institutions from the DRESDEN-concept and other partners for sustainability assessment.
