Research Lab
The research lab is part of the Centre for Methods in the Social Sciences of the TU Dresden. It is a joint project of the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, the Faculty of Education and the Department of Psychology and was arranged in 2016 with resources of the future concept of the TU Dresden. The laboratory was officially opened in the summer semester 2017.
Laboratory equipment
The laboratory has more than 20 user PCs, as well as 2 PCs for supervisors. Each PC possesses two monitors, telephone and modem access and a high-grade call centre headset. A large table provides sufficient room for meetings or group discussions with approx. 12 people. Furthermore, mobile video projection systems and an omnidirectional action camera can be used. You will find control software (e.g., ePrime, z-Tree), software for eye tracking and the measurement of reaction time (e.g., Facereader, IR Media Monitor) and also analysis software (e.g., SPSS, MaxQDA).
