Objectives & Content |
This introduction to environmental economics discusses the interactions of economic activity, politics and the environment. The students understand the economic theoretical foundations of environmental problems and environmental policy, in particular the theory of external effects and their internalization. They know various environmental economic instruments and are able to discuss ways of avoiding global environmental problems and adapting to them.
