Elective Modules
The main studies are interdisciplinary designed and offer an specialized education covering Business and Economics as well as Engineering in broad scope. The elective modules are separeted into the fields Business and Economics, Engineering and Further modules. Each field is in turn divided into several specialisations.
Field of Study
You can choose between the fields Standard und International. In the field Standard at least 45 credit points have to cover the area Engineering and further 45 credit points have to cover the area Business and Economics. In the field International at least 35 credit points have to cover the field Engineering, at least 35 credit points have to cover the field Business and Economics and at least 20 credit points have to be derived from a foreign university.
Selection of Modules
The complete list of elective modules can be found in Attachement 1 of the examinations regulations (German). The modules are descripted in detail in the Modul manual (German) covering content and qualification objectives, forms of teaching and learning, admission requirements and the kind of examination.
Attachement 2 of the study regulations (German) defines how the modules are assigned to the focus topics. Thus it appears that a module can belong to more than one focus topic, even in different areas. Depending on the conformity with the topics content this assignment may be primary or secondary.
