Quality Management
Motivation
The term quality management can be defined as the organizational measures that contribute to the quality capability of the processes of a company and that have a positive effect on the product quality. In research and teaching we deal with activities that are necessary to build an effective quality management. While doing so, we are concerned particularly with the quality management in industrial enterprises, in the healthcare sector and also in research and development projects.
Concerning the central demands from domain nonspecific (e.g. ISO 9001, EFQM) and domain specific (e.g. QEP, KTQ), requirement catalogues, questions about the structure, maintenance and the documentation of a standard-compliant quality management system will be discussed.
As part of our work in research and development projects, we are also responsible for the fulfilment with the project sided formulated requirements in an executing and supervising function. The associated management tasks are carried out under the consistent use of modeling methods and tools.
