Family sports
The University Sports Centre joined TUD's initiative Audit "family-friendly university" in 2007. We offer special courses for students and staff with their children. In 2012, the University Sports Centre received the award for the most family-friendly facility at TU Dresden.
Movement, games and sports with your family

Parents and children get impulses for regular sporting activities. Together, in groups or individually: for all age groups, there are numerous opportunities for diverse activities in various game and sports variants, which are above all fun and relaxation.
This offer is inclusive – i.e. free of any categorisations.

This is the opportunity for student parents and their children to play and do sports together.
Parent-child climbing
Responsible person: Karola Hartmann
While the parents can climb, children get an introduction into climbing by experienced trainers. For children up to 6 years!
Prerequisites for parents:
• Participation in the beginners' course of the University Sports Centre
• Basic knowledge of rope handling and safeguarding (Parents are advanced climbers.)
Only members of the universities (students and staff) are insured, not their children. The care and supervision obligation for the children lies with the parents!
Water familiarisation for children with student parents
