Objectives:

Enhancing cooperation between science/research and industry; strengthening the innovation capacity of Saxon companies, thereby contributing to the creation and protection of sustainable jobs and growth in the Free State of Saxony.

Improving employment opportunities for graduates and skilled professionals from universities, research institutions, universities of cooperative education and technical schools.

Strengthening the technology and knowledge transfer in Saxon companies

Increasing staff mobility between science and industry.
- Eligible for funding is the recruitment and employment of staff with relevant working experience in science, research or industry with the aim to provide consulting services to SMEs. These services may include identification and transfer of technological knowledge from technology suppliers in order to prepare and implement product or process innovations. The services may also include the processing of scientific research results for industry.
- The following costs are eligible for funding: Up to 50 % of personnel costs with up to EUR 60,000.-- annual salary per funded person; A maximum of two persons (per company) can be funded.
- Duration: minimum of 12 months, maximum of 48 months

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), universities, research institutions, `Berufsakademie Sachsen´, Chambers, associations, freelance engineers, or other technology brokers e.g.: technology agencies, technology transfer centres, technology parks or other transfer centres of universities or non-university research institutions with registered headquarters or business premises in the Free State of Saxony.

SMEs are defined as small and medium-sized enterprises, which meet the criteria of the SME definition according to Annex I GBER
