Web-based databases in which information on calls for proposals from regional to international funding organisations is collected and specifically processed are indispensable for strategic research promotion. For this purpose, Research Connect is available at TU Dresden. This enables the following services for researchers:

• Comprehensive overview of regional, national and international funding opportunities and funding organisations
• Provision of information on funding bodies, funding requirements, funding amounts, contact persons and details of successful funding, if publicly available
• Specific filter settings and storage of individual searches
• Creation of topic-specific and/or funding body-specific newsletters and reports
• Freely editable reminder function for call deadlines and new funding possibilities for own research fields

Research Connect is available for use by all members of the TU Dresden via the ZIH login. Therefore, there will be an online introduction to the system by the provider on November 2^nd at 9 am and on November 9^th at 2 pm.
