Since July 2019, 22 companies, 5 research institutions and 5 associations have been working together to realize the vision of a digital construction site using universal signal paths, connectivity technologies and automation solutions for driven machines. The developed solutions will be tested and demonstrated using a real-world construction scenario based on current standards.
An organization that is still in development will continue to operate this demonstration beyond the project’s conclusion. Companies and research institutions are welcome to use this testing environment. In the future, the goal is to use it to derive new technologies and business segments that will support structural change in the region.
