„Ich bin studierte Kunsthistorikerin und Denkmalpflegerin. Nach diversen Praktika und kleineren Aufträgen war ich von 2012 bis 2015 wissenschaftliche Volontärin beim Thüringischen Landesamt für Denkmalpflege. Seither bin ich in Nebentätigkeit freiberuflich tätig. Neben dem Beruf arbeite ich seit Ende 2011 an meiner Dissertation zur spätgotischen Wallfahrtskirchenarchitektur Thüringens und engagiere mich durch fachbezogene Projekte, wie durch Etablierung temporärer Nutzungen für leerstehende Kulturdenkmale in Meißen oder den Entwurf einer KZ-Gedenkstätte im Herrental Kamenz. Von 2013 bis 2014 setzte ich mich während meines Volontariats als stellvertretende Sprecherin der Arbeitsgruppe Volontärinnen und Volontäre in der Bau- und Bodendenkmalpflege der Vereinigung der Landesdenkmalpfleger für die Interessen der Volontäre und der Verbesserung deren Weiterbildung ein. Schwerpunkt waren u.a. die Entwicklung eines Leitfadens für das Volontariat mit dem Ziel, die Rahmenbedingungen hierfür zu verbessern; die Ausrichtung der Arbeitsgruppentreffen und die Teilnahme an den Sitzungen der Vereinigung. Bei der Arbeit waren mir die Vermittlung der Anliegen und Wünsche einzelner Beteiligter, aber auch die Partizipation der Volontäre selbst besonders wichtig. Angeregt durch diese Erfahrung möchte ich mich nach dem Ende meiner Elternzeit im Mai 2017 für die Interessen der Promovierenden an der TU-Dresden einsetzen. Bei dieser Aufgabe kann ich meine Kenntnisse zur Öffentlichkeitsarbeit einbringen, die ich aufgrund meines beruflichen Werdegangs besitze. Des Weiteren stellte ich durch ehrenamtliche Projekte, wie die Betreuung eines Projekts für die Dauerausstellung der Albrechtsburg in Meißen oder die Umsetzung und Gestaltung der Ausstellung ...in letzter Minute gerettet, mein Organisationstalent und meine Fähigkeit zur Teamarbeit sowie zur Kommunikation und Vermittlung auch schwieriger Inhalte bereits mehrfach unter Beweis. Gerne würde die DDocs mit diesen Fähigkeiten unterstützen und mich mit Kreativität und Freude an der bevorstehenden Aufgabe für die Promovierenden der TU-Dresden einsetzen wollen.“

„Ich probiere gern neue Sachen aus - vor allem solche, bei denen ich mich aktiv einbringen kann. So spiele ich in meiner Freizeit in einer Folk-Band oder bin an unserem Institut als Mittelbauvertreterin unterwegs. Ich interessiere mich dafür, welche (gemeinsamen und unterschiedlichen) Erfahrungen Menschen in Qualifikationsphasen machen, wie sie ihren (beruflichen und privaten) Alltag meistern und welche Herausforderungen dabei auftauchen. Ich höre gern zu und versuche - z.B. auch in der Arbeit mit Lehramtsstudierenden -, beratend Impulse für neue oder andere Perspektiven in Arbeitsprozessen zu geben. Ich erhoffe mir in der Mitarbeit bei den DDocs eine Möglichkeit, diese Expertise auch in die Arbeit mit Promovierenden einbringen zu können, mich daran weiter zu schulen und reflexive Konzepte beizusteuern. Expertise bringe ich aus dem Bereich der Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften mit und hoffe, das Team der DDocs mit seinen heterogenen Arbeitsschwerpunkten noch einmal verstärken zu können. „

"I am PhD candidate at the Institute of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Department of Geosciences. In my opinion, it is better to move forward with a group rather to wander alone and if you want improvements in good part you have to take the leading role. So I am interested in taking part in the Elections of the Council as a candidate. I hope for the best and wish a best of luck to other candidates as well. Please consider myself in! "One year passed and I learned a lot. During the past year we together established the PhD council of GA and hosted several amazing events (e.g. ScienceSlam, PhD Party). To achieve this goal we -the members if the council- experienced many interesting experiences together, which I will never forget. Now, that the first year comes to its end and the one year old PhD council is well recognized, is the time to realize lots of ideas which we had in our mind but there was no time and possibility to make them happen. Therefore I would like to continue my membership of the PhD council for another year. When we work together, impossible is impossible."

"In our first period we have established the PhD Council (GA) as an organization on it's way to represent the PhD students of TU Dresden. We have a seat in the senat, we are part of the network of PhD councils of other universities in our region, we have made our first important steps bringing PhD students together and give them a voice and represent their needs. We have started to influence administration and committees to recognize PhD students as an important group and do more to support them.
The next topics I want to focus are bringing together PhDs of all the different fields to get connected and support each other, raise awareness in public for the decreasing quality of life of young scientists because of nationalistic tendencies in Dresden and the damage for this area as a high quality science location, as well as empower the university administration on its way to strongly enhance its support of its PhD students.
I would be glad to be reelected as a member of the next PhD council, so I can keep moving a long this great way with the PhD Council."

After one year of hard work in this Council, I have nothing but really nice memories. I have gained a lot of experience and even improved my German. Our achievements wouldn’t be possible with all the support from the members of the Council and friends, and now that this term is coming to its end, I would like to continue as a member of the new Council. We still have many ideas that we were not able to develop, but with your support we can make it happen.

"By now I am one year in my PhD project "Chaotic transport in 4D maps". During my studies in Dresden I was constantly part of the student representatives and hope to be of some help also to the PhD representation. I think it is very important to establish the PhD students as an own group besides students, staff, and professors in the boards on all levels.
