Within this seminar we guide you through the funding programs of the German Research Association and other research funding organizations of relevance. Aim of the seminar is to give you a broad overview about funding opportunities suitable for early career scientist and information about the scheduling into your career path. Furthermore, we shed light on the detailed structure as well as all formal aspects of the DFG-proposal (Basic Module & Module Temporary Positions for Principal Investigators), as well as on the principles of Good Scientific Practice when writing a proposal. You will have the possibility to discuss your questions according to your own DFG-proposal. The seminar addresses particularly applicants from the field of Life Sciences with no or only little experience in developing third party funding applications. This workshop is offered in cooperation with the Project Scouts of TU Dresden. |
