Data Protection Declaration
Purpose and data collecting authority
The personal data requested in the registration process will be used exclusively for the preparation, implementation and follow-up (if necessary, forwarding of materials relevant to the event) of the International Networking Day of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. For this purpose, the requested data will be processed by:

Data processing
The personal data requested can be used to compile statistical data such as
- number of participants
- the affiliation of the participants (faculty)
as well as personal data such as
- names of participants
- e-mail addresses of the participants
The data will be compiled and collected in order to plan the event according to the needs and to be able to use this data for the preparation of future events of this kind.
With their registration, participants agree to the sending of emails relevant to the event. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR.
Consent to image use
During the event, photographic material, including screenshots if necessary, may be taken by TU Dresden or by commissioned service providers for the purpose of documentation, post-event reporting, post-event follow-up and for announcing future events by TUD. This may also include photographic material depicting individual participants.
If participants do not agree to the use of the images as described above, please contact bereich.gsw@tu-dresden.de or speak to the organising team on the day of the event and inform them that you do not agree to the use of the images as described above.
Voluntariness and revocation
The provision of all data is voluntary. Participants can refuse their consent or revoke it with effect for the future without stating reasons by sending an informal e-mail to bereich.gsw@tu-dresden.de. In these cases, participation in the event is not or no longer possible. If the revocation takes place after the end of the event, the respective participant’s data will be deleted, unless there are legal grounds to the contrary.
Data transfer
Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties
Duration of storage
All data requested in the online registration form will be stored. After completion of the International Networking Day, but after 4 months at the latest, the data will be deleted.
Right of information
I am aware that I may at any time request information on the data processed concerning me and on the possible recipients of these data to whom they have been transmitted, and that I am entitled to a reply within one month of receipt of the request for information.

I am aware that I can contact the TU Dresden data protection officer and the responsible supervisory authority for data protection at any time.
