Laura Pantzerhielm is a postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Chair of International Politics, Technische Universität Dresden. Her research focuses human rights, global health, international norms, the politics of knowledge, discursive and critical approaches to global politics.

Laura Pantzerhielm obtained her doctorate in Political Science from Freie Universität in 2020 with a thesis on rights-based approaches to development at the United Nations (summa cum laude). She holds a Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris and an M.A. in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin. Pantzerhielm was a doctoral Research Fellow at WZB Berlin Social Science Center, a junior visiting fellow at the Graduate School in Geneva and a Sydney-WZB Merit Fellow at the University of Sydney.

Her research appeared in journals such as Review of International Studies, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, and Global Governance.
