Collaborations
The Henry Arnhold Dresden Summer School is an interdisciplinary program for young scientists and museum professionals. It bears the name of Henry Arnhold, Honorary Senator of the TU Dresden, whose philanthropic spirit and close ties to his birthplace Dresden inspire cooperation between the city's cultural and scientific institutions in many ways. As a joint project of the TU Dresden, the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, the Military History Museum of the German Armed Forces, the Saxon State Library - Dresden State and University Library and the Dresden State Art Collections, the Dresden Summer School can draw on a network of high-ranking partners. The goal is to discuss current questions of self-image and the future orientation of collection and exhibition institutions together with experts from the participating institutions as well as with high-ranking speakers. Fundamental theoretical concepts will play just as important a role as concrete practical approaches to action.
