INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "AUTOMATED TEXTS IN THE ROMANCE LANGUAGES"

The Chair of Romance Linguistics of the TU Dresden (Prof. Dr. Anna-Maria De Cesare and Team) is organizing an international conference entitled "Automated Texts in the Romance Languages". The conference will take place at the TU Dresden on September 28^th and 29^th 2023.

Automated texts have become a matter of general interest since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022. The so-called Large Language Models (LLM) are arousing great interest in all fields of research and at the same time AI-supported software – for example in the form of translation tools – is increasingly being used in a wide array of domains. At the conference, automated texts in the Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese) will be discussed from a linguistic perspective by researchers from Europe and the USA.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the conference: colleagues and students alike! Registration and participation in the conference are free of charge.
