The Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBMT) was represented at this year's 18th Interdisciplinary AUTOMED Symposium in Collaboration with the TC Medical Robotics (short: AUTOMED & MedRob Symposium 2026) in Hanover 🇩🇪 with four presentations.
The following contributions were presented:
- Correlation between torsobarography and surface topography for spinal analysis (Nico Stecher)
- Anatomical plane multi-view learning for detecting spinal deformities with surface topography (Thurid Jochim)
- In vitro VV-ECMO mock circuit to quantify oxygen transfer across ARDS and ECMO weaning stages (Andreas Döcke)
- Who-is-who Spotlight Talk: From ECMO Support to Kidney Perfusion: Optimizing Flow, Optimizing Care (Dr. Susanne Kromnik)
Special thanks to the local organization team in Hannover as well as the TC AUTOMED and the TC Medical Robotics for organizing this amazing event.
