QoE Improvement in Networks

The emergence of broadband wireless networks has stimulated great interest in non-voice, mainly video communication over wireless networks. Mobile networks are becoming dominated by data service instead of voice. However, delivering data over wireless access networks to satisfy the end user’s requirement is still a challenging task. One possible approach to solve the above problems is to optimize scheduler based on predicated QoE in network before sending the contents to end clients. The tasks of this project consist of two main parts. First, a model which can accurately evaluate actual QoE of divers services by using the choice network parameters will be proposed. Second, an optimized scheduler then will be proposed to perform QoE Improvement based on the proposed QoE prediction model.
