Zusammenfassung
With regard to the upcoming challenges caused by the Big Data's four "Vs", that are volume, variety, velocity and verycity, collected from and distributed over trillions of devices (IoT), open source approaches to treat the pending tasks in field of Data Science become more and more important.
In this seminr we will examine some of the most popular software tools for these purposes, w.r.t. their applications areas, scaling behavior, usability and limits.
We will answer these questions with a systematic approach following the technology stack
from the bottom (required hardware platforms) to the top (applications and analytical tools).
Themen
Potential topics for interested students include:
(Big) Data Stores and Analytics (Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Storm, Samza, etc.)
Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning
IoT Platforms
IoT Applications
IoT Security
