In order to successfully complete your studies, it is necessary to successfully pass the module examinations and examinations regulated in the regulations of your study program. Examination-related Periods
The core examination period is determined centrally by the TUD and
☞ begins in the summer semester on 22.07.2024 and ends on 17.08.2024.
The registration for the exams takes place during the following periods:
- written examinations: from 04.06. till 18.06.2024

oral examinations: from 16.04.2024 till 18.06.2024
-
semester-accompanying: 16.04. till 31.05.2024
The following types of examinations are assigned to this registration period: Seminar papers / Project work / Internship protocol / Exercises (PVL) / Preliminary examination (type not clearly stated) / Internship report / Project report.
- language examination: from 17.06. till 07.07.2024
- study-accompanying examinations: 01.04.2024 till 30.09.2024
The following examination types are assigned to this registration period: Major Certificate (D-950) / Professional Internship (D-930) / Internship (DSE-20) / Research Project (CMS-05) / Team Project (CMS).
Withdrawal from the exams is possible without giving reasons within the following deadlines:
- Written examination according to PO (§ "General Admission Requirements and Admission Procedures") 3 working days before the examination date
- Oral examinations according to PO (§ "General Admission Requirements and Admission Procedures") 2 weeks before the examination date.
- Semester-accompanying examination performances: 31.05.2024
- Study-accompanying examination performances: 8 weeks after issue
!!!ABSOLUTELY NOTE!!!
- All deadlines are binding! No late registrations will be accepted for exams whose registration deadline has passed. In such a case you will not be able to participate in the corresponding exam!
- Registrations for examinations are only valid for the current semester!
Exam schedule
The scheduling of exams for the winter semester is currently in progress. The examination schedules will be published on the news page as soon as they are available. Further information on examinations for the winter semester 2023/2024 will also be published there.
Exam enrollment / registration and cancellation of exams
In order to be able to take examinations, it is necessary that you register for each examination performance (examination enrollment). However, registration for an examination performance is only possible if you meet the requirements for the examination performance.
It is usually possible to withdraw from a written examination performance without giving reasons up to 3 working days (including Saturday) before the examination date. You can withdraw from oral examinations up to 2 weeks before the examination date. Further details are regulated by the examination regulations of your course of study.
