Prof. Lesandro Ponciano Dos Santos

Prof. Lesandro Ponciano is working from January 2022 until the end of 2023 in the European Project AI-SPRINT. He received his Doctor degree in Computer Science, from the Federal University of Campina Grande, in 2015. Since then, he has been researching and teaching subjects in the intersection between System Engineering, Distributed Computing, and Human-Computer Interaction. His experiences are mainly with quantitative empirical research, including system characterisation, simulation, modelling and evaluation based on metrics and estimates associated with human factors, such as trust, privacy, and explainability. Many of his computer science studies have motivation or application in the context of citizen science, participatory science and participatory design.
