7. Internationalen Conference on Very High Cycle Fatigue
Nizzastraße 55
01445 Radebeul
Dear colleagues,
In less than two weeks (July 3 - 5, 2017) the 7th International Conference on Very High Cycle Fatigue will be held in Dresden. VHCF7 resumes the successful series of previous conferences starting with VHCF1 1998 in Paris (FR) until VHCF6 2014 in Chengdu (China).
Today, the fatigue behavior of materials for number of loading cycles surpassing the classical fatigue limit has become a question of major interest and has one of the highest impacts in the domain of fatigue publications. Topics such as damage mechanisms, crack initiation and fatigue crack growth behavior are still of major interest as are recent and future trends in the experimental and simulation techniques related to VHCF studies.
More than 90 presentations from 16 nations worldwide, with 5 plenary talks and additional invited talks will provide a broad insight into the many findings in VHCF research and a successful and fruitful scientific exchange.
For more information and registration, please go to http://www.vhcf7.de.I am looking forward to welcoming you at VHCF7 in Dresden.
Yours sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Martina Zimmermann
