International Offers
The professorship is closely connected to numerous partners in Europe and the World. Through joint research projects, extensive exchange is fostered, for instance within the EU programme Horizon 2020.
One external site of the DLR Institute of Solar Research is located in Almería, Spain, where a large scale research facility is operated by the Spanish Centre of Energy, Environmental Studies, and Technology (CIEMAT) is operated on the Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA).
The development of such technologies is crucial for Germany as an export-forcused country. A significant part of solar power plants in the world's most sunny regions has been delivered and produced by German companies.
Within final theses and doctoral dissertations, it possible to work on international and national research projects. You can find further information on current vacancies at DLR here.
