Research priorities

The third-party funded research is borne by public funds (German Aerospace Center, European Space Agency, European Union, German Research Foundation, German Federation of Industrial Research Associations, Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, etc.) and development contracts from industry (EADS, Airbus Defence and Space, automotive suppliers, medical technology companies, etc.).

Co-operation at the chair

Research, development and knowledge transfer are among the core competencies of the Chair of Space Systems. Due to the broad spectrum of research of the chair, it is possible to address complex research topics. We also pursue new, interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to space research.

In addition to numerous projects in Germany, we are also interested in co-operating with international partners. The aim is to create a close global network of co-operation partners, allowing for an intense and creative exploration of new ideas.
