Video shoot with Robo-Dog SPOT developed by Boston Dynamics
Scientists from seven chairs at TU Dresden are developing methods and technologies for the use of gas-sniffing robots in the SNIFFBOT project. The so-called sniff bots are equipped with bio- and micro-sensors and can be operated remotely. This would allow the robots to detect toxic gases in difficult terrain and, at best, seal their origin. SPOT, an agile robo-dog developed by Boston Dynamics, shows in the video what it has already learned using AI.
We would like to thank everyone involved who contributed to the success of this fantastic video – especially Christoph Großmann for the idea, Ludwig Schmutzler for the great realization and last but not least the two models Florian Görschel and Jens Schober. Thanks a lot!
