Institute of Fluid Mechanics

Fluid mechanics phenomena occur almost everywhere and in great variety. They are therefore of great importance for science and technology. The Institute for Fluid Mechanics represents the physical and methodological foundations of fluid mechanics. The focus is on the development of new experimental and numerical methods as well as the physical analysis of fluid mechanical phenomena with the aim of understanding and mastering such highly complex processes.
