Counselling in Teaching
The structure of teaching and learning at the university is at the heart of the advisory services offered to teachers by the Centre for Continuing Education.
We support you in the development and implementation of your teaching concepts in personal conversations, by e-mail or over the phone.
Specific questions or key topics of everyday work-life are discussed in systematic advisory sessions and solutions are generated by the group of participants. Collaborative advice opens up a variety of suggestions for all participants with regard to their own teaching concepts.
You will visit each other's teaching sessions in collegial teams by prior arrangement and then give each other constructive and experience-based feedback on your chosen focal points of observation. You will receive suggestions and ideas on how to improve your teaching, expand your didactic repertoire and develop your reflexive and analytical skills.
To shadow a teaching session and give subsequent individual advice is an opportunity for professional feedback and can provide new stimuli for teaching. In our template for a shadowing protocol, you will find suggestions for focal points of observation.
Teachers at TU Dresden have the opportunity to contact the Centre for Continuing Education and arrange individual consultation appointments.
We would also be happy to provide you with advice on the individual programmes from the
- Continuing education catalogue of TU Dresden and on the
- Certificate Programme of the University Didactic Centre Saxony.
Consultations and teaching work shadowing with professional feedback are offered by the Centre for Continuing Education as part of the BMBF joint project: "LiT - Teaching Practice with Transfer plus".
