Shortly after sunrise for all early risers and all those who wanted to start their working day early and motivated, the first digital writing start morning took place on Thursday, 2.09. from 7 am to 12 pm. On Big Blue Button the team of the Writing Center of the TU-Dresden (SZD) and the SLUB Wissensbar as well as the SLUB TextLab arranged "Info-Happen", impulse lectures with methods and tips for a productive start into the writing day and gave advice on individual questions around scientific writing and working.
With 21 participants, the "Info-Happen", impulse lectures by the teams of the Writing Center and the SLUB on topics such as "Carefree into the (writing) day: How do I recognize reputable literature sources?" or "Writing habits - the caffeine kick for writing" or " Muesli and motivation - breakfasting away procrastination", were best attended and were also reflected in the content of the "Message to go":

All participants in the evaluation who answered these questions (N=8) fully or somewhat agreed that the Writing Start Morning was helpful in getting motivated for one's writing project and helpful in identifying problems during the writing process. On the other hand, the opportunity to write together in a structured way in a group guided by a working method was not accepted by the participants.
On average, those who participated in the evaluation afterwards gave the Writing Start Morning the school grade 1.44 (N=11), would recommend the event to others (N=9), and gave the organizers a shower of praise (excerpt):
- "The event was super planned and implemented. Super uncomplicated, helpful and sympathetic! Was very interesting, got me further and was fun at the same time."

The writing center and SLUB teams will take the feedback with them to plan the next writing event because: After the Writing Start Morning is before the Long Night against procrastination!
