What is Good Scientific Practice?

To pursue successful careers in translational research, scientific key competencies and a thriving network are as essential as methodological expertise. Dresden Biopolis’ early career programs under the umbrella of the Dresden School of Clinical Science (DSCS) meet this need with the seminar series "Clinical Science Key Competencies".

On September 5, 2024, Ben Wielockx, TUD trainer for Good Scientific Practice will talk about the importance of maintaining scientific integrity, presenting research results in a transparent and comprehensible manner and thus avoiding scientific misconduct.Further, Alexander Kemnitz, faculty of business and economics, and Leonie Kunz-Schughart, OncoRay  will introduce their role as Ombudspersons.

This seminar is particularly aimed at early career researchers. However, we invite scientists at all career levels to get inspired by the teaser talks from local experts and to enjoy networking with peers and possible mentors.
