Research Alumni (to be)

Once a guest at TUD, forever a friend of TUD: The close connections to our guest researchers are based on trust and are to last for a long time. All international scientists who would like to stay in contact with us, can join our research alumni network (contact form).

For our research alumni and everybody who would like to become one, we are offering a wide range of events and excursions.

We provide information on the latest funding offers of the TUD such as the Dresden Fellowship Programm to our network members.

In collaboration with the professors at our school, we are offering academic and interdisciplinary conferences for alumni and friends of the TU Dresden.  We assume all event management tasks, from funding to the individual support of the guest.

Regional Ambassadors of the TU Dresden

We are collaborating closely with the regional ambassadors of our university. These TUD alumni are spread all over the world and will be happy to help you with your issues. They can offer advice and support if you intend to stay in their country.  Moreover, since a quarter of all regional ambassadors is German, you can also ask for nationwide help, e.g. when looking for an internship in Germany. Our international regional ambassadors are equally the first contact for their compatriots planning a stay at TU Dresden. Further information can be found on the webpages of the Alumni Relations Office.

Multipliers and door openers - on the work of our regional ambassadors in their countries. The Regional Ambassadors are the contact persons for all incomings to TUD, help to advertise the scientific location Dresden abroad and support the initiation of research collaborations between international universities and TUD.
