The future of particle physics at the energy frontier critically depends on developments in accelerator technology. The near term future will be centered around the exploitation of the LHC with its high-luminosity upgrade, the HL-LHC. Post-LHC colliders offer tremendous potential through higher energy or higher luminosity. I'll compare the current options, highlight major challenges, and discuss the long-term physics program of the LHC and beyond.
