In the style of a theoretical physics lecture, the main aspects of the dynamics of the atmosphere will be discussed.
In detail, these will be: vertical temperature profile of the ATM, 0-dimensional energy balance model, the minimal dynamical model of the ATM, specific solutions of these equations of motion (orographic wind, Rosby waves, stability), numerical weather forecasts, climate change, geo-engineering.
