Summary of Lecture: | Nonlinear dynamical systems arise in many fields of physics, including classical mechanics, thermodynamics, laser physics, and biological physics. We will introduce key concepts of nonlinear dynamics (stability analysis, bifurcation theory, chaos, noise), and apply these to examples from different branches of physics. |
